The contract has been voted on, it passed by a large margin. These are the items we received through negotiation with the school board.

1. There is no pay raise at this time, however if the fiscal picture changes during this contract period we reserve the right to revisit negotiations for a pay increase.

2. We were successful in obtaining additional paid days off during the school year, Presidents day and days off during Spring Break (April 5th and 6th.)

3. The contract has been extended 1 year, this means all of the gains we have won over the last couple of years like the extra days off during the winter break are intact.

4. The lunch break has been extended to 1 hour, you are allowed to use your school board vehicle to pick up lunch or eat at a restaurant when en route to your next assignment. The 60 minute lunch is inclusive of the travel time to pick up lunch or to eat at a restaurant and return to the work site.
